A 20 year old Ardbeg distilled in March 1996 and bottled at 46.5% in 2016 by Ian Macleod for the Chieftain's range. Not cold filtered and without added dyes, 601 bottles were produced.
Nose: Peat and smoke, camphor, citrus, pine needles and vanilla.
Palate: Sweet and balsamic with citrus, kiwi, eucalyptus and caramel.
Final: Persistent, sweet and smoky.
