Ardnagherkin was distilled in 2015 at the Ardnamurchan Distillery. A lightly peaty whiskey aged for 6 years in an ex-bourbon cask that had contained Glen Moray. Bottled at an alcohol content of 59.9%, from cask no. 672, is an edition of only 253 bottles.
Nose: Extreme, with notes of marinated onion, oysters and Manzanilla.
Palate: Fleshy with fatty and honeyy notes.
Final: Persistent with smoky hints.
