Balcones Single Malt batch #2 has a metal concert on the label at the Underworld, with the Brimstone Cowboys performing in front of the Devil himself! But in the audience there is also someone who offers the agave band… This single malt is in fact aged in ex-Tequila barrels! Bottled at an alcoholic strength of 51.2%, unfiltered cold and without artificial coloring, it is a limited edition of 212 pieces.
Nose: Balanced and sweet and sour, with vegetal notes of agave, dried and smoked herbs, a little salt, with caramel and red fruit.
Palate: Oily, even tastier; cut grass, agave heads, lemon juice and dried cherries.
Final: Spices, still herbaceous notes, then canned pineapple and persistent smoke.
