A 25 year old Benrinnes selected by the Morrison family for the “Celebration of The Cask” series. A single malt Scotch whiskey distilled on October 24, 1996 and aged in a single ex-sherry butt cask (#962101). Bottled to its full degree of 53%, without the addition of dyes and without being cold filtered, it is on the market in only 482 examples.
Nose: Hints of walnut cake, sherry, orange peel and wood.
Palate: Complex with notes of buttery biscuits, cinnamon, nutmeg and pecans.
Final: Persistent with notes of barley, pepper and cinnamon.
