A Blair Athol 12 year selected by Chorlton Whisky. A single First Fill Bourbon Hogshead distilled in Blair Athol and bottled in 2022, at 12 years of age, at the full alcohol content of 54.9% in only 290 specimens.
Nose: Nuts, fruit tea, a few whiffs of minerality, from a cigar box.
Palate: Mint chocolate, strawberry ice cream, still a touch of minerality.
Finish: Sweetly toasted walnuts and a layer of cane sugar.
