A 14 year old Cardhu for the Diageo 2021 Special Release. Agile and full-bodied, this is a superb one
expression of the distillery, perfectly enhanced by a mysterious note of violet and with all the timeless elegance of a unique and perfect flower. Aged in American Oak refill and aged in Red Wine cask, it was bottled at the full degree of 55.5%.
Nose: Fresh and slightly fruity with white grapes, green apple, pear, custard and orange peel.
Palate: Velvety with hints of biscuit, violet, cooked apple and spices.
Finish: Medium persistent, sweet, clean and warm with notes of green apple and white pepper.
