A special release to celebrate the career, after four decades in the world of whiskey, of President Brian Morrison (former owner of Morrison-Bowmore). This Bowmore 26 years old it was distilled on May 10, 1991 and is aged in bourbon barrels. Bottled at its natural degree of 42.9%, it is a limited version of 565 bottles.
Nose: Fresh apricots with green apples, a hint of sea breeze and smoked fish.
Palate: Spicy with intense notes of fruit and oak.
Final: Persistent with hints of algae, vanilla, earth and pink pepper.
