A 14 year old Dufftown selected by North Star Spirits. Distilled on March 6, 2008 and bottled shortly after turning 14 on March 7, 2022, this Dufftown Refill Hogshead is a splendid example of the refined style of the Dufftown-based distillery. Incredible huh? 14 years, 241 bottles, 59.5% of alcohol.
Nose: Black cherry and molasses.
Palate: Waxy cinnamon and freshly baked croissants.
Final: Very balanced, a really well structured malt.
