Faemussach? It is a peaty single malt from the Benriach distillery, which however cannot be declared (ACCIDENT!). Distilled in 2001, it matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel for 21 years until bottling in 2022. 313 bottles obtained, at the full grade of 56%.
Nose: Aromatic and fruity, with red fruit, hay, a little vanilla. Thin smoke, growing.
Palate: Caffelatte, honey and honeycomb, then spiced biscuits with notes of burnt wood.
Final: Smoked vanilla sticks, balanced and complex.
