Description: An elegant and refined Barolo, a pure expression of the Gattera MGA. Complex aromas of dried roses, red fruits, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is structured, with silky tannins and a long finish.
Vinification and refinement: 7-8 days of skin contact in rotary fermenters with indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation in steel tanks using indigenous bacteria. The wine is not clarified or filtered. Aged for 24 months in 15-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels. A further 8 months of bottle aging.
Pairings: Rich meat-based dishes, braised meats, truffles, and mature cheeses.
