Selected by Càrn Mòr for the series "Celebration of the Cask ”, is a single malt Scotch whiskey distilled in February 1990 and aged for 27 years in an ex-bourbon barrel. Bottled in October 2017 at its full degree of 50.6%, without the addition of dyes and without being cold filtered, it is on the market in only 170 bottles.
Nose: Monolithic, with hints of mineral peat, wax, butter and vanilla.
Taste: Surprising with tropical, balsamic and sometimes floral notes.
Final: Moderately persistent with a waxy and peaty soul.
