A Glenallachie 16 year old single cask. Distilled on April 19, 2006 and bottled in August 2022 at an alcohol content of 58.6%. From the #1408 barrel, aged in an Oloroso Puncheon, it is a limited edition of 699 bottles.
Billy Walker's meticulous approach to the selection and management of woods is the extra gear for one of the distilleries that are making the most of itself.
Nose: Notes of candied fruit and vanilla, with cinnamon, sultanas and nuts.
Palate: Rich with hints of molasses, orange marmalade, ginger, vanilla and dark chocolate.
Final: Persistent with spicy and candied notes.
