Lochlea Single Malt “Our Barley” is the third bottling of Lochlea to reach the market and it is an important step in the history of the distillery: Our Barley, in fact, is the first bottling that will remain permanently present in the range. This is the first true creation of John Campbell, who for the occasion has chosen to combine whiskey matured in First Fill Bourbon Barrels, Oloroso Sherry Butts and STR Barriques. Bottled at 46%, without artificial coloring or cold filtering, it is a whiskey that will quickly enter the hearts of all aficionados.
Nose: Ripe fruit, apple, floral notes and dried fruit. Creamy vanilla, toffee and a persistent citrus freshness.
Palate: Very rich, with caramel and vanilla. Ripe summer fruit dominates, followed by toasted cereals and elegant sweet spices.
Final: Medium length, still fresh fruit, barley and pastry.
