A 15 year Longmorn is the first bottling of Stillness: a concept inspired by the polysemy of the word STILL. It's a frame, taken on analog during our last trip to Scotland, it's an introspective moment of peace and serenity, it's an alembic, where form becomes substance.
A whiskey matured in a first fill bourbon cask, bottled at a grade of 54.2%. Not cold filtered and without the addition of colourings, available in only 66 bottles.
The label shows a frame taken from McCaig's Tower in Oban after a long walk.
Nose: Malt is king. Strong hints of bread, green apple, vanilla and icing sugar.
Palate: Delicate and refined as only a Longmorn can be. Slightly mentholated with notes of pear, cereal and white pepper.
Final: Persistent, with a touch of acidity, of fresh fruit salad and a hint of waxy note.
