Soffio is the new gin from botany Made in Marche: born from an idea of Tony Giorgini, and is the result of a meticulous work carried out with the Strada Ferrata Distillery in Seregno (MB). The idea of Soffio was born in Potenza Picena from the Belvedere overlooking the Conero, where the key botany of this gin grows: Paccasasso, a product strongly linked to our territory of which "Rinci - Meraviglie di Gusto" is the supplier official.
Don't you know the Paccasasso? It is a wild marine fennel that grows spontaneously among the rocks of Mount Conero (AN). The paccasassi seed, carried by the wind, creeps between the cracks of the rocks adjacent to the sea, and there it takes root, coloring the white Conero coast with a wonderful green. Salt, wind, limestone and sun do the rest, forging the aroma of paccasasso.
The first batch is a Morisco Spirits exclusive.
Nose: Fresh and herbaceous with a hint of saltiness.
Palate: Slightly savory with hints of juniper and cardamom.
Final: Spicy and citric, with a pleasant softness.
