An exciting 21 year old Springbank single cask bottled in 2016 by Hunter Laing for The First Editions range. Matured in a single ex-bourbon refill hogshead barrel, it was bottled at its full grade of 49.9% without being cold filtered and without added colorings. Present on the market in only 160 bottles.
Nose: A gentle peat opens the way to coastal scents, notes of black pepper and apricot. Wax and honey.
Palate: Complex with hints of wax, oysters, vanilla and orange peel.
Final: Long and persistent with notes of coconut, peat smoke, citrus and tropical fruit.
