JG Thomson Sweet is a blended malt scotch whisky created by the historic Scottish brand. A blend of malts from Speyside and Highland matured in a combination of American oak casks subjected to various heat treatments. Bottled at 46.5%.

Whisky was spreading around the world partly thanks to the merchant J.G. Thomson. Inspired by the bustling port of Leith, JG Thomson & Co. developed and refined their blending skills in the historic Edinburgh warehouse, now home to the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. In 1785 they began exporting across the world and when it came to whisky, there was no class divide: bottles of JG Thomson graced the banqueting tables of the great and powerful as well as the neighbourhood bars frequented by the common man and woman.
Nose: Enveloping with a scent of caramelized cane sugar on fresh clementines, enriched by delicate notes of vanilla pods.
Palate: An explosion of cocoa beans, caramelized peach and an enveloping creaminess of crème brûlée.
Finish: Fresh and persistent.
