Selected by Càrn Mòr for the “Celebration of the Cask” series, a single malt Scotch whiskey distilled in December 1989 and aged for 27 years in an ex-bourbon barrel. Bottled in July 2017 at 43%, without the addition of dyes and without being cold filtered, it is available on the market in only 188 bottles.
Nose: Incredibly sweet and delicate, with hints of butter, vanilla, almond paste and apricots.
Taste: Oily with notes of pastry, wax and tropical fruits.
Final: Medium persistent with chocolate and melted butter.
