The Revello Family
The Revello family's history is deeply rooted in La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe, where winemaking took shape after World War II. After an initial phase dedicated to growing grapes, the first family-branded winemaking was launched in 1967. With the generational transition in the 1990s, the company consolidated its style by highlighting its historic crus. Today, the Revello family interprets Barolo through a balance of territorial tradition and winemaking precision.

The DE Alessandrini family
Sassaia's philosophy stems from the de Alessandrini family's legacy, founded on rigor, observation, and respect for natural cycles. The inspiration dates back to Giulio de Alessandrini of Neuenstein (16th century), a proponent of an empirical and holistic approach to the relationship between man and nature. These principles guide Enrico de Alessandrini today in his work in the vineyard and cellar. The Capriata d'Orba property, tended by the family since the early 20th century, represents the heart of the project.
